The Rover Alcisa Group gets into service a new train commuter parking lot in Madrid

Iberovías, a Rover Alcisa Group company has put into service the beach parking routes for trains serving the line C-4 Madrid commuter to replace the outdated facilities of Parla Industrial until last week were in operation. This action is included within the extension work platform to allow to separate the service Madrid-Valencia AVE from the  Madrid-Sevilla AVE currently carried out by the Rover Alcisa Group, through UTE “joint venture” between construction its two companies, Rover Alcisa and Iberovías, in the section Pinto-Torrejón de Velasco in the province of Madrid.

The main work has involved the construction of a bundle of three routes that connect with nearby public roads, totalling approximately 1700 meters of useful options for parking circulation. It also has acted on the general lines riding equipment leaks and road connection to optimize precise manoeuvres of the new rail configuration. These new roads are provided with electrification and security installations and communications needed to be put into service in the conditions of operation.

The work has been completed with a technician building for the command post and traffic control of the new station as well as new lighting, sidewalks, driveways and all the necessary development for accessibility and comfort for users.

 

The project consists of two actions: A first (L.AV. Pinto-Torrejón de Velasco), placed next to the current LAV Madrid-Sevilla, which aims to quadruple the implementation of a way to increase the capacity of the high-speed access (and will access in the future) of Atocha station and a second involving the replacement of the existing commuter train parking station in Parla Industrial, affected by the works, by implementing a new parking intern at the local train line C-4.

It includes all necessary works for the definition of the platform to the level of sub-ballast layer (which is included within the project), and the replacement of easements and departments concerned, the environmental integration of infrastructure and ancillary works .

The new commuter parking, as it is a rail replacement, is fully defined, including the sections of track, electrification and security and communications facilities, so that may come into operation before the lifting of the existing parking.
