Iberovías, a Rover Alcisa Group company specialized in the construction and maintenance of railway infrastructure and superstructure, has been awarded the maintenance of the section of Torrejón de Velasco-Gabaldón of the Line Madrid-Levante. Iberovías participates in this work in a consortium with Acciona Infraestructuras and Coalvi. The activities contemplated will be aimed at ensuring, as far as it is concerned in the infrastructure system, route and detours of traffic safety, to achieve the highest possible degree of comfort for passengers and maintain regularity indices characterizing trains that will circulate by this line of High Speed. The maintenance period is expected of two years and a half, between July 2010 and December 2012, extendable to two years if any mutual agreement.
The maintenance work has as aim the achievement of quality standards.
