This ballast profiling, distributing and regulating machines increases significantly the operation profitability by minimizing the final quantity of ballast to be used, since it recoups ballast from the hopper and then distributes it.

This machine can work both on Iberian and international gauge tracks. It includes central ploughing, lateral ploughing and sweeping devices, and a ballast hopper.

Central ploughing allows the right distribution of ballast on the railway track, which avoids areas with an excess or default of ballast. Lateral ploughing defines the sidewalk profile, which reduces the risks of buckling on the railway track. The sweeping device for drawer and sleeper surfaces prevents ballast stones from crowding together due to the high circulation speed which is currently achieved.
